Each evening when you finish your work day, create the ritual of Transition Time. That is, take time to consciously shift from Get Shit Done mode, to Go With the Flow. If you do this well, then you will be ready for meaningful connection with your partner. You can read more here.
Find an activity that forms a bridge from your individual days, to coming together as a couple. The key to an effective Transition Time is to do something that allows you to let go of the day, and helps you shift into openness and presence.
Some of the ways my clients like to do this are; running, watering the garden, listening to music, drinking tea, journalling, working out, reading.
Remember: Take your time to work through this program. It's what you do today that matters.
