The relationship between you and your body is integral to your capacity for intimacy.
Movement & body awareness allows you to release old patterns, stop looping on negative thoughts, and access your intuition. Many people try to 'solve' problems using a "top down" (mind to body) approach by thinking their way out of them. It can also be very powerful to use a "bottom up" (body to mind) approach and tap into the wisdom of your body.
I highly recommend Movement Koan by Steve James for a gentle guided practice (I do the "fast floss"), and the movement practices created by Michaela Boehm and detailed in her book The Wild Woman's Way.
